Message-ID: <1994Jun8.163058.20741@ucl.ac.uk> Date: Wed, 8 Jun 1994 16:30:58 GMT Organization: University College London Lines: 20 I have recently purchased an NEC 3Xi cd-rom drive, and have succesfully connected it to my Adaptec card. The machine boots up ok, but when I attempt to run MSCDEX, it says that it cannot find the driver which is needed (Something like NECCD...). I assume that there are drivers available for this card, which I never had due to the machine being bought second hand. Are these drivers available on the Internet? If not, does someone have a set for their card? Failing that, does anyone know how to contact Adaptec for these kind of drivers (In UK perhaps?). Any help that can be provided would be greatly appreciated, as I am getting increasingly frustrated at being unable to use the damn thing :-((( Thanks again for any help given. Raymond Chitolie.
