I believe that MSCDEX comes with DOS, from versions 5.00 and up. So, when you
installed your new DOS version, you should have also installed the new MSCDEX. If it
did not install, then check the DOS disks you installed from. It should be there, and I
believe it is not in compressed form. Just copy it over to you DOS directory.

If it is infact compressed, use Microsofts EXPAND.EXE program. It is included with
Windows 3.1 and DOS, from version 5.X and up as well. Expand is very easy to use, much like
PKUNZIP. Just type, from your C:\DOS directory, EXPAND A:\MSCDEX.EX_ MSCDEX.EXE
That should do it (that is, if it was compressed, but my MSCDEX on my DOS 6.0 disks
is not).

By the way, I could not make it come up with a version number, but the file is
dated 3/10/93, and is 25377 bytes long.

	Hope that helps!
