Raymond - there is a lot of info on the Internet.  Try FTP to 
	gatekeeper.dec.com

in the directory
	/.f/micro/adaptec

There is a whole directory there of adaptec drivers, apparently 
written as freeware/shareware by someone at Adaptec.  Check it out.

I'm emailing you the archie response for mscdex as well as the index to 
the cited directory.
