I'm considering whitch would be the best choice of cd-rom-drive. I need a suitable fast, robust multimediasa cd-rom-drive with SCSI-Bus. Unfortunately it's not easy to choose the right. The triple speed of NEC would be fine but reading this newsgroup gives the impression that there are various problems whith this drive. I'm using the Adaptec 1542CF SCSI-Card without Adaptec-drivers. After all I've heard I think the Toshiba 3401 would be the better choice. I would appreciate if there's anybody out there who can help me decide. Please send e-mail.
