I have a 386/40MHz homebrew PC with a Mitsumi CRMC-FX0001D double-speed
CDROM drive and a Mediavision ProAudio 16 Basic Sound Card. I recently
got a copy of the Strategy Plus magazine which comes with a free CDROM of
demos ($4.95 is a good deal for both/maybe it's normally more money --
call 1-800-283-3542, if you are interested). I also recently got a copy
of the CDROM Today magazine with free CDROM disk. Both of these have
demos that use a program called DOS4GW.exe. This program is used to run
the Ravensloft, SimCity 2000, and Theme Park demos. Unfortunately, when
I run the demos on either disk that use DOS4GW, I get the error message
below. All other demos work fine. Does anyone know what this is all
about? Forgive me for not including autoexec.bat and config.sys file and
dma/interrupt list if those are important, but I thought I should
conserve net bandwidth a little. Maybe it's something really trivial.
Thanks in advance for your help.
