	I have had similar problems with the Panasonic 563 and the Proaudio
Spectrum 16 soundcard.  It seems to be more prevalent with the bass turned up
in the mixer.  The DOS, as well as the Windoze mixers give the same result.
	(This is, of course, to be expected, as bass overdrives your amp more,
and gives more distortion...)
	Try turning down your bass setting whenever you play loud pressed CDs.
