|I ordered this CD and I was disappointed. I have seen Walnut Creek ads
|before (I think?) that said something about the complete works of Shakespe
|being on this CD, but there is *nothing* by Shakespeare on it. If you loo
|at the back of the jewelbox, the blurb on the back even says it has the
|works of Shakespeare, but the blurb lies. The Shakespeare was the main
|reason I ordered it in the first place.

I was surprised to find that you were indeed correct about the absence
of Shakespeare on the CD. I'd just received my copy a day or two earlier
and hasn't thoroughly checked it out.
This is what I *could* find, with regards to Shakespeare:

[The Shakespeare Was Never Released]
___

The line above seems to say it all, however that doesn't explain why the
CD is being marketed as containing, "The Complete Works of William
Shakespeare," when in fact, none exists on the CD.

|Also, I don't see the reason for having 5 or 6 versions of the same thing
|the disk. If the text has been corrected 6 times, why not just give us th
|latest and greatest version? What's the point in having all the old versi

Good question. My daughter and I were perusing the disk and found
ourselves asking the same thing.

|This is the first time I've been disappointed in a Walnut Creek product,
|but this CD is certainly not worth $39.95 to me.

Here you have an option. Walnut Creek "unconditionally guarantees" your
purchase. According to the jewel case jacket, if you are "dissatisfied
for any reason, you may return your CDROM for a full refund."
(BTW, this disk can be purchased for *half* of what you paid for it. A
better price may make the absence of Shakespeare more tolerable. <g>)
