	Howdy.  I just bought a Toshiba 3401B CD-ROM drive for my
machine at home and am planning to hang it off of my Adaptec 1542B
SCSI host adapter.  ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Caleb, I strongly suggest that you mount this drive in a bay instead of
letting it hang by the SCSI ribbon cable. If the bits going from adapter
to the drive go too fast ( accelerated by gravity because the cable is being pulled down by the drive ) it could cause errors.  Plus, the bits from the CD-ROM
might not be able to climb straight up that cable, causing more errors.
