Well, you answered one question: updating from tslcdr 3.02 to
3.07 won't help (how do you get upgrades for this driver --
please help!). I have the same setup, with a dx2/50.

I've now tried 3 different perf. monitors (MPC Wizard 2.0,
cdspeed.zip, and checkcd.zip; there is supposed to be another
one out there that can indicate the cache-size on a drive --
anyone seen it?) all with about the same slow result.

Is anyone having success with the pas16/cdr-510, or has
anyone tried a different soundcard with the cdr-510?

ALSO, HERE IS A POSSIBILITY! I just looked at a note file
from the 1-408-945-7727 BBS, Q&ATRANT.TXT, and it says something
about needing ScsiWorks! software to handle NEC 3xi drives
with Trantor products. Could this be a fix???
