         Any suggestions for a low-noise, high-speed, heavy-duty printer for
         tract-feed continuing paper?

We need to order more printers for Library online-catalog and CD-ROM
LAN workstations. To print search citations, "quick and dirty"
print-out would be good enough, while low-noise and high-speed are
the major concerns. We liked HP ThinkJet, but it had been
discontinued by the Vendor. We then switched to Canon BJ300, which
has also been discontinued recently. Seems all vendors who make
InkCartridge printers believe that they should print on single sheets
just like Laser printers. For citations (without page number),
single sheets can easily be messed up or placed out-of-order.
Tract-feed paper is highly desirable. Do we have any choice other
         than dotmatrix printers?

Among dotmatrix printers, OKIDATA 320 seems fit the Library needs the
best. However, it generates a lot of paper jams.

Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
