This message is being posted to both LIBREF-L and CDROM-L. I apologize
    for any duplicate mail.

Please send replies directly to me at hurley_jm@corning.com as I am not
    currently a member of CDROM-L.

    ------------------------------

In our business library we currently have several CDROM products. Of
these, the Dun's Business Locator is used primarily for an quick
reference in locating/verifying company names, addresses and phone
    numbers.

    My questions are as follows:

    1. Does anyone know of a CDROM product which also allows for the
retrieval of company's based on SIC codes or industry, as well as
serves as a locator? How does this product compare with DBL.

    2. Has anyone every had any experience with Prophone?

BTW - we run our CDROMs on a Compaq 386 machine with a Toshiba player.

TIA for any/all help. If information abounds, I'll summarize and send
    to both lists.
