Each CD can be given a unique name and can be mounted multiple times to appear as a sub-directory of the entire jukebox and as part of any subset of the jukebox. The jukebox may be transparently accessed across networks through TCP/IP and NFS. No client software is needed: clients can use the jukebox in the same manner as they currently use a server hard disk. Both RAM and hard disk caching options are available. Ultra Capacity supports NSM, Kubik, Todd, Pioneer, and Logical jukeboxes, as well as the Young Minds CD Studio recording system. CD-ROM file formats supported include ISO 9660, Rock Ridge, and High Sierra. Most Unix operating sytems, as well as Windows NT, are directly supported by Ultra Capacity. For more information, contact Young Minds at (909) YMI-4YMI or e-mail tolsma@ymi.com.
