We have dug out from the ice & snow, and are catching up on the missed
issue of the CD ROM RATINGS Letter. Thanks for the continued reviews
and ratings. Now a problem!

I just bought (yes bought) TRAVEL PLANNER by EXPERT CD ROM, to compare
to Auto Map which I've been using for years. AM has a few limitations,
which would be erased by a CD ROM version (ie: more road detail, more
text and local info, etc). The best way to test it, I thought, was to
plot the same routes I've plotted in AM over the past few months. Boy
was in for a suprise! I plotted the most recent course from Manhattan,
NY to Palm Beach, FL.... and the program took me via SAN JOSE, CA!! I
repeated it on a different machine. Can anyone else verify this, and/or
give me feedback on this program?
