No, the SB16 does not have the same problem with sensitivity that the Pro
Audio Studio does, so you do not need an attenuator no matter which Texel
drive you are using. 
 
I posted the original message, and we now carry 40 different top-quality
shielded cables to connect CD-ROM drives to Sound Cards in all kinds of 
combinations. If you need an audio cable, give us a call. We probably have
