Hello All,

I have a Gateway2000 486DX2/66V machine with 16MB RAM and Mitsumi Double-Speed
CD-ROM drive. When I try to install The 7th Guest, the install program rates my
CD-ROM drive at only 150K/sec transfer? Shouldn't this be something like 300K
/sec if it is a double speed drive? I had the same problem when I tried to
install The Lawnmower Man. Is there some kind of "switch" in the config.sys
file for double-speed access? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!

Thanks In Advance !
