Yep. This won't help you much, but my Mitsumi double-speed (are you sure
it's the FX model?) ran 7th Guest fine. It showed the full 300K during
installation.

As for my setup: the installation software provided me with two lines,
one for the config (something like device=..., loading the cd-rom device
driver with the buffers and the DMA stuff), and one for the autoexec which
loads mscdex. Nothing special.  

What interface are you using? Are you _sure_ it's a double speed drive?
