Now I just attach to one of those services that gives shell level access to the same information without maintaining it myself. Some of the earliest CDROMs I had contact with captured various Usenet sources or sources from ftp sites. I figured this was great, I could just buy a yearly issue or so that would keep me up to date without having to work at it. However, I have since realised that the Walnut Creek folks have no intention of updating their Source Code CDROM since it is two years out of date with no upate in sight. My other source, the Prime Time Freeware stuff is a year old but wasn't a direct capture so thus tended to be too picky about what they would put on disk. I called the NetGems people, but they have transfered their Usenet capture business to someone else who it is a pain to get in contact with. Has anyone taken up the slack in this area? I've now missed a year and a half of sources and I'd really like to be able to catch up. On a completely seperate topic. What is the recommendation for a good linux CDROM and (potentially separate) a good NetBSD CDROM. Dave
