HARDWARE KEY FOR CD-ROM TEXT RETRIEVAL APPLICATION WANTED

In a CD-ROM text retrieval application we are working on, it should be
possible to charge for the use of the software.

We are looking for hardware (or software) counters, that will allow for
charging based on the use of the software (i.e. a certain amount of points
charged for the specific function executed by the user). The counter should
preferably be in the form of a hardware key that can be connected to the
parallell port of the PC, but a software solution could also be considered.
The search engine/application should connect to the key, reducing the
number of points according to the function selected by the user. It should
also be possible to substitute/recharge the hardware key (alternatively
"recharge" the software key). We would appreciate the name of the software
and vendor, along with a phone/fax number or email address.

Thank you very much for kind help!

- Jon
