Reference Technology Inc. used to be a Software company, selling CD-Rom 
retrieval software and databases, they often would bundle Sony and 
other 3rd party CD-ROM drives with their products; they were bought by 
Dataware a couple of years ago. This company may not be related at all to 
the external cdrom you are looking at, but thought that the information 
may help any way.
