I recently bought a Mitsumi FX001D, and I am generally very happy
with it. However, there is one problem.

It does not seem to play music cd's properly. Ther tend to skip
often, usually only a single skip, but at a rate of about 1 every 10 seconds or so.
If this is happening when it reads data, internal error checking is catching it
. Does anyone have any ideas?

It doesn't have to work right,
                                          It just has to work!
