There are at least half a dozen shareware programs that simulate audio-cd
player with CD-ROM. You can find them in many anonymous-ftp sites, like
wuarchive.wustl.edu and ftp.funet.fi. 

There is an audio-cd player included in windows 3.11, too (go and upgrade,
it is worth it (not the audio-cd player, but the whole stuff ;-))
