I am starting a mail-order multimedia design/distribution company.
I need a "merchant account" in order to be able to charge customers'
VISA and MasterCards.  Most banks will not touch me because I am new
and because I sell by mail-order only.  Most other companies are
seriously slimy, asking $1,500 for a $250 terminal.

Can you please recommend a Merchant Account company that is
reputable but will take honest software mail-order start-up companies.

Would also like to hear horror stories, advice on what could go wrong,
and other wisdom.

I also am looking for reputable 800-number answering/mailing
"order fulfilment" companies.  I am looking at The Hibbert Group,
and would like to hear about them and others.
