Howdy Multimediates,

I'm new to this newgroup and new to the field of multimedia.  So please
forgive me if my questions seem naive or if they've been asked dozens of
times.  I work for a company that is launching a fledgling program to 
produce our customer documentation in multimedia format.  The display
system will be a PC running NT, and the distribution media will be CD-ROM.

I'm looking for help in developing:

	* a list of possible viewers 
	* a list of viewer suppliers
	* a list of possible multimedia development tools
	* a list of suppliers for development tools

I would also like to see a FAQ, if one exists for this newsgroup.  I
appreciate any info that any of you experts might have.  As I learn more 
about this over the next couple of years, I promise to post to this group
to reciprocate for any help I receive.  If you'd rather not clog up the
newsgroup, feel free to email me directly.  Thanks.
