Also, the WaveStudio was v1.1, not 2.0. Luckily, you can call and they'll
send it to you. Call 1-800-998-1000 and give them all your info, including
serial number. They said I would get mine in 2 to 4 DAYS! Wow! The
support guy also mentioned that the previous 3 calls had been for the 
same problem.

They're including software for you to play, not sell. Just be glad all
the software isn't as lame as the driving simulation.

I play them off the CD. Just don't run the install script. But, 
considering that they make a point on the CD insert of saying how
they have taken extra care to save your hard drive space, and then
have the standard install script copy the entire game to your hard
drive, is inexcusable.

Mine sounds great. You may have to turn down the treble to minimize the
distortion on 8 bit samples. Better speakers that actually have bass
response could also make a difference.
