TO>What are the distribution possibilities for an independently produced

Derek,

Here is some free advice, worth infinitely more than what you
paid for it. First time out, set your sights on name recognition not
profit. The best/easiest way of getting your CD-ROM out there is to make
a deal with someone who has invested the $20,000 to $60,000 for a good
WORM device and get him/her to cut the CD-ROMS for you for a fee or
percentage of this (and/or future) sales.

Next contact the Assocation of Shareware Professionals (ASP)
about 1) joinning and 2) getting your CD Rom listed. This will end up
on a future ASP list on COMPUSERVE and from there the INQUIRIES should
begin to flow in. Consider making a subset of your CD-ROM available as
a shareware (download free, register later) from Compuserve and other
Shareware sources.

The first edition should serve two purposes, 1) Name recognition
and 2) allow you to test the waters and see what you can get to fly.
