Message-ID: Organization: School of Electrical Engineering, University of Bath, UK Date: Mon, 21 Feb 1994 22:34:50 GMT Lines: 23 I have recently bought a new DX2 66 with a SB16ASP MCD and Panasonic CR562B cd-rom drive. I also have Rebel Assault. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to work. It gets to the point where it starts counting down towards zero and stops about half way. It then either hangs up or reboots the machine. I have tried every configuration possible but nothing seems to make it work. I have the same problem with Doom. I noticed that they both use the program DOS4GW.EXE and came to the conclusion that my machine didn't like it. I have also tried the patches that LucasArts have produced for people that are having trouble in getting it going. Still nothing will work. If anyone can come up with any solutions, or can tell me that it is not just my nice new machine then I would gratefully appreciate it. Thanks Jim@Midge
