I have intermittent problems with it which I cannot identify as being the card or the drive. Specifically, when playing 2x AVI files like the one on the latest CD ROM today sampler CDROM, I get audio and video skipping. Return to Zork reports the drive has a transfer rate between 288-293KB/sec and MPC Wizard reports sometimes speeds > 300KB/sec. This is in keeping with a 2X drive. But I don't understand the skipping - any ideas? (DOS 5.0 Windows 3.1 8M Cyrix 486DLC/40). The other problem I have is the drive occasionally hanging during the playing of a AVI file and upon reboot not being found by the SCSI driver. Only a power off/on will fix this - not C-A-D or reset or C-A-D with the drive being powered off and on (it's mounted externally so has its own power supply). +==================================================+ | Laurence Chiu | Walnut Creek, California | | Tel: 510-412-4730(wk) | Internet: lchiu@crl.com | +==================================================+
