Hi there, I have a rather naive question.  I plan to buy a quad spin 
plextor in the near future.  I currently have a SB pro deluxe sound card 
installed in a DX266 Vesa system.  Can someone recommend which SCSI 
controller I should get, and will I be able to get audio CD playback by 
plugging the plextor into the SB pro card (I know there is a jack on the 
card, not at the rear, but on the board that is designated for cd -rom 
connection, will this work?).  This isn't really essential to me as I 
have a stereo system with several cd players, but it would be nice to 
have one through my 'puter as well.  Also, I was thinking of adding 
another hard drive at the same time, will the SCSI card support the hard 
drive as well as the CD?  I have space for one more HD on my IDE card, 
but would like to save that for a tape backup system.

P.S.  Owners of the Plextor, how do like your new drive?
