I'm buying a whole new system and want to get a cd-rom with it.. what is a
good choice double speed cd-rom?
I'll mainly be using os/2 and linux.. so need a device which will have
drivers for these.
I'm thinking about the sony device mainly as it is cd-i linear compatible..
so if i ever wanted to add a reel magic board i could watch cd-i films..
this is not a major consideration though.
It will be controlled via either a soundblaster 16, 16 ADSP, AWE32 card..
whichever has the available drivers for linux and os/2.
