Position Title:  Sales Representative, WLN
Division:  Marketing and Sales
Reports to:  Manager, Marketing and Sales

DESCRIPTION

Responds to general and specific, written and telephone inquiries about
WLN products and services.

Performs specific sales activities related primarily to LaserCat CD-ROM
products as well as for WLN online services.

Represents WLN at regional and national conferences.

Responds to RFPs for CD-ROM catalogs and online services.

Assists in development of promotional literature.

Evaluates competition and recommends new and enhanced products/services.

Assists in overall WLN planning and formulation of pricing and policy.

Performs other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Proven successful sales/marketing experience, preferable 2-5 years in the
library market.

MLS preferred but not required.

Familiarity with automated library systems and/or CD-ROM products.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Training and product development experience desirable.

Salary:  commensurate with experience.
