If Outlook-Sync is properly installed an extra menu will appear in Outlook. From the Avigo menu select Configure to display the configuration screen.

The following screen is displayed:

My Avigo is connected to:
Here you need to select the comport your Avigo is connected to.

Show splash screen on startup:
This if this option is selected the Avigo Outlook Synchronization splash screen will be displayed for 3 seconds when Microsoft Outlook is started. If you don't want to display the splash screen deselect this option.

Synchronization can be initiated by Avigo
This option is intended to Activate synchronization by tapping the Synchronize Now button on the Avigo Sync screen. I've currently disabled this functionality because Outlook gets really instable when this option is enabled. (Although I programmed it by the book, seems to be an Outlook bug).

Bypass Outlook Security
Remember the annoying Security warning screen when a program is poking around in your Contact list? Microsoft build this 'feature' to prevent viruses from spreading by mail. When you enable this option a workaround is activated to bypass this security screen. Hereby proven that this Outlook 'feature' is not really adding any security to Outlook at all. Everything this 'feature' seems to do is annoy people :-) (Or should the world be happy that I don't create any viruses????). Oh, before I forged, this option could actually cause your Virus Protection software to detect a Malicious script. You need to authorize this script to run before this feature actually works.

Synchronize Contacts
If you want your Contacts to be synchronized enable this option.

Synchronize Appointments
If you want your Appointments to be synchronized enable this option.

Synchronize Tasks
If you want your Tasks to be synchronized enable this option.

Set the Avigo clock to match PC clock
If you wan't to set your Avigo clock to match your PC clock select this option. You could use some NTP (Network Time Protocol) software to synchronize your PC clock over the internet. Now your clocks will always display the exact time. (NTP synchronization is a standard feature of Windows XP, other Windows version need additional software).
